Jason K. Murrie joined Cornelius & Collins, LLP as an associate in 2009.  Mr. Murrie received his Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Louisville, Brandeis School of Law in 2006.  He graduated with Honors from the University of Florida, with a Bachelor of Arts in History.

 

Mr. Murrie maintains a civil litigation practice, with a focus on tort and insurance defense, medical malpractice defense, personal injury, and workers compensation.  In the course of his practice, Mr. Murrie works with, and counsels, a variety of clients ranging from individuals to institutions and business entities. 

 

Prior to joining Cornelius & Collins, LLP, Mr. Murrie practiced for two years in Kentucky.  He is licensed to practice in the state and federal courts of both Tennessee and Kentucky, and is a member of the American, Tennessee, Kentucky, and Nashville Bar Associations.

 

In addition to his legal pursuits, Mr. Murrie is also actively involved in the Nashville community.  He is a 2009 alumnus of the Nashville Young Leaders Council, and is currently serving on the Board of Directors for Rediscover East!, a non-profit organization involved in redevelopment and beautification efforts in East Nashville.
