On January 16, 2009, J. Cole Dowsley and Ben M. Rose conducted a seminar on Medical Records Law. The seminar, which was held at the Embassy Suites in Franklin, TN, covered general principles of confidentiality of medical records and HIPAA privacy regulations and compliance.

Dan Berexa recently served as the moderator for a panel discussion on race and gender issue entitled "When the Walls Come Tumbling Down."  The panel was part of the Tennessee Bar Association’s 2007 Leadership Law Program, and the participants included Judge Martha Craig Daughtrey, who serves on the U.S. Court of Appeals, Sixth Circuit; Adolpho A. Birch, Jr., retired Tennessee Supreme Court Justice and Chancellor Richard Dinkins, who serves in Davidson County Chancery Court, Part IV.

Dan Berexa has been named Chair of the Law Office Technology & Management Section of the Tennessee Bar Association.  The Law Office Technology & Management Section helps lawyers and law firms effectively manage their practices and incorporate technology to enhance the quality of their legal services.

Rebecca Wells Demaree  was featured in a WSMV Channel 4 I-Team investigation on May 15, 2006 for her representation of Laura Stickel in a sexual harassment lawsuit against the State of Tennessee.

Tom Carlton  was the featured faculty member in the Winter, 2006 issue of the Nashville School of Law Newsletter.

Dan Berexa is co-producing a six-hour Continuing Legal Education program for the Tennessee Bar Association, "Law Technology 2008: Marketing, Management and Technology Solutions for Your Firm." The program will be held at the Doubletree Hotel in downtown Nashville on February 22, 2008. The program includes sessions on Legal Technology Trends for 2008; Technology in the Courts; Internet Marketing: Webinars, Blogging and Podcasting, and Specialized Programming for Mac and Microsoft Users.
